Alternative Renewable Energy Systems Inter Tied With Power Grid Source

At present, some household owners who have built their own alternative renewable energy-efficient generators are able to inter-tied their own power source along with the electric power company’s power grid system. They are able receive kilowatt hour credits through the utility supplier every time they send their excess generated power back to the grid. It is quite interesting to explore how this system is done, is it not?

The power source of an energy-efficient system could originate from a radiant energy generator, from a magnetic power generator, from a solar cell panel or even from a wind power generator. With the help of advance technology, these  energy-efficient systems could possibly produce more power such that an ordinary family could be generating excess electricity. Once your energy device could produce more energy than what you required, you can add a back up battery to store it for later use. You also have the option to sell your extra power to your electric company.

The method used in an alternative renewable energy-efficient system is quite old but were suppressed for some economic reason. For example, in the case of a radiant energy generator, it extracts free electromagnetic waves from the air or even from the earth and then converts it to electricity using big capacitors and secret resonant tuning circuit.

Magnetic power generator is another system whereby it is gaining popularity due to some inventors claim for its ability to reproduce more output power than what it had put in. The next method is the solar power system wherein it uses photovoltaic cell panels to convert sunlight into electricity. Last but not the least is the use wind power system where electricity is produced whenever there is sufficient wind that rotates the blades of the wind turbine.

For those who are now capable of producing excess electricity, now is the time to consider interconnecting with the utility company’s power grid. In this way, your kilowatt hour meter will not register any reading as long as you are able to supply all your power requirements from you own generating machine. As a matter of fact, you could even make the meter move backwards. In fact, your kilowatt hour meter might even turn on the reverse direction. This could happen only when you are delivering extra power to your utility company’s power grid. This procedure is called as net metering or net billing, and could provide you rebates or credit, depending on the policy of your power utility company.

Actually, it is so easy to inter-tie your energy system with the power grid. It will only require an extra auxiliary devices. All you have to do is to terminate the output of your own electric power device to an interface device called Array DC Disconnect. Then terminate its output to the inverter’s input. From the output of your inverter terminate it your house main switch. This setup will link your power system to a electric power meter which is the one terminated to your utility power source grid.

If your own power generating system has the capacity to generate extra electric power, interconnecting with the power grid is a wise decision. It is possible for you to sell electricity back to the utility company instead of just buying electricity from them. Is it not a good idea to be making money from a power company at same time helping our environment for not injecting any additional pollutants?
